Alt. Apricot Club (Clavulinopsis luteoalba), deemed less likely due to growth on moss.

Nutrient-poor, mossy grassland and heaths, occasionally woodland litter

No culinary value

• ▸ Slender, cylindrical, unbranched clubs in pale to golden yellow with a more or less pointed tip
• ▸ Tough, waxy-fragile fruit bodies that darken with age
• ▸ Grow singly or in small clusters on mossy grassland
• ▸ Small, usually only a few cm tall

An easily overlooked grassland coral; on the German red list, so a special find.
